6 weeks old

Charlie just turned a little over 6 weeks old. so we’re finally allowed out! we’ve been out for sushi - the sunshine roll and tuna amazing rolls are the best. col and I pigged out on them… yummy!

we also took Charlie to Unity church this passed Sunday and it went pretty well. she cried a little, but not the whole time.

quick update on annoying stuff (like stroller rage) - ok, so “charlie” is often used as a boy’s name. more so than a girl’s name. we get it.

what we find funny (and annoying) is when the conversation goes like this with someone new who hasnt met Charlie yet…

New person: Oh, what a cute baby…

Us: Thanks, this is our DAUGHTER (emphasis) - Her name is Charlie. She is 6 weeks old.

New person (bless them…): Oh, the name is Charlie??? Is it a boy? I thought you said it was a girl.

Us (what we say): Yes, we named our daughter Charlie.

Us (what we’d like to say): UGH! Didn’t you hear what I just said??? Daughter…Her….She…

People (adults) are clueless sometimes. but we’ve come to expect it. oh well.

Here’s some new pictures.
